 rossman Company Properties' history with residential developments began in the early 1970's when Grossman established itself in the world of mobile home park ownership and management. Over time, GCP's portfolio of mobile home communities grew to encompass over 1,300 units in both Arizona and California. Building on this residential concept, Grossman later began the construction and management of a 180 unit apartment complex in Chandler, Arizona.
 In the 1990's the focus shifted to luxury residential construction and sales. In an innovative move at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa, Grossman pioneered the idea of on-site private luxury villa ownership with access to all the hotel amenities, combined with the owner's optional entry into the hotel's rental pool. In addition, Grossman began the development of an 8,500 acre master-planned community in the foothills of Boise, Idaho. What sets this development apart from the multitudes of tract housing is its focus on protecting and enhancing the natural environment, so much so that Hidden Springs was the recipient of the prestigious Urban Land Institute's Best Smart Growth Community Award in 2000.
